A sofa that evokes an embrace, a cocoon that envelops and protects.
A sensory invitation to sink into voluminous cushions that adapt to the body’s contours, offering a space of total relaxation. The different sofa configurations take on a new form here, where the armrests extend down to the base, becoming structural supports—almost like two hands gently holding the person who reclines.
This is the essence of Kumo.
The point of contact between the armrest and the base enhances the softness of the upholstery and serves as a housing for the supports. These metal supports feature a minimal inverted T-shaped geometry, emphasizing the structural characteristics. The cushions are designed to instantly regain their original shape after cradling the user, as if suspended among the clouds in a delicate and enveloping embrace.
