Robin Rizzini

An Italian-British designer who was born in Genoa in 1973. After several years working at the Antonio Citterio studio in Milan, he opened his first design studio in 2006. A few years later, he co-founded the Metrica studio in Milan where he fulfilled the role of Design Partner.
In 2019, he returned to being an independent designer again. He’s collaborated with several furniture companies in Italy and abroad, primarily working on projects for the residential, hospitality and office sectors. His technique fuses a technical-industrial style with a decorative approach that offers perfect balance, resulting in pieces designed to be essential,functional and highly expressive. For several years, he’s also been lecturing at the Scuola Politecnica del Design (Polytechnic School of Design). In 2014, he received the Compasso d’Oro award.
