Tinti & Bottino

Carlo Tinti, born in 1966. He graduate in Isai Di Schio as Interior Designer and in the 1990 he begin his career in the interior world drawing his attention speci cally to the study of the tailored furniture.
His expertise in the arts combines with his technical knowledge leads him to develop an ability of combining the phycology of things together with their functions.
He is able to fuse together the domesticity of the “product” with the technicality, which gives the product a strong personality. His slogan is “Design 4 Stagioni”.
The object needs to adapt to the ambient and to the use anytime, giving a psychophysical solution to its owner.
He currently lives and works in Venezia and combines the project activity, often in tandem with Stefano Bottino, friend and colleague, to the teaching.
He works with psychologists and educators in creative workshops to help prisoners in Venice and neighbourhood.

Stefano Bottino, he was born in Genoa in 1977.
During his childhood summer stays in the Genoese hinterland, his imagination as a child was attracted, and indelibly marked, by the skilful work carried out by the gnarled hands of an elderly craftsman whose precise movements created archaic and fragrant alder wood spoons.
After graduating from the Art School, he obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial Design at the SPD – Polytechnic School of Design – in Milan, where he learned the basics of Gestalt, or the perception of form, and where he perfected his passion and attention to detail, under the teaching of Piero Lissoni.
After gaining some experience both in the design field, at the Bonetto Design studio, and in the conceptual field, through the collaboration with the Design Italia website, he decided to move to Venice where he met Carlo Tinti and Luca Nichetto.
This collaboration consolidates his personal research towards the main aspects related to industrial design, such the research for the intrinsic function of the object, the control of the shape and proportions of the product, a constant and careful research of materials.
